We ordered two chicken meals, both mixed with dark and white meat(both had a wing and a thigh). The chicken was crispy and well done. My sides were coleslaw and potato salad-both were just ok. My wife had the beans and fries. Fries had good flavor and were nicely done and the beans had a nice smokey flavor. Both orders came with Texas toast and when you add in two cokes the bill was just under $19.

Clearly a neighborhood joint, but only in good ways. Small, cozy, friendly staff. Decent food, well priced. Will go back, with friends!

First off, Google forces you to give at least one star so hence the one. It was thee worst service and most vile "food" I've encountered in SD. Not one of the servers checked or cared to ask how we were doing despite me not being able to even drink that burnt sat all morning coffee. The wait staff served meals to people who arrived much later than we had, they had no organization or basic priority with service. There are assigned wait sections and ordered seating to help with the confusion they were chaotic and in disarray. When the food arrived nearing 1.40 after we sat and ordered I was excited to see if they'd live up to the hype. I can honestly see why it's so inexpensive the lack of quality and pure disaster and I question if it was not mostly synthetic and artificial food. The eggs and potatoes seemed from a powder or box same as gravy and biscuits. The French toast was not coated and clearly sat on a counter not a heating panel, it was dead on arrival. I had a few bites of each item and sent my food dish and coffee to the edge of the table my server never came back tho seeing the items never engaged. They knew it was awful and I appeared to be upset. The staff didn't then engage even the management and others walked and greeted other tables no one came to my aid or tried to reconcile the situation. They perhaps knew and blatantly disregarded basic customer service. I paid for my meal after asking another waitress for the ticket and when they took back what was clearly all the food ordered and a full cup of coffee they shamefully didn't even make eye contact. The only reason people come to Botskis is the asking price, they clearly reduce the cost of making actual food so they charge a fee which allows to peak people's interest. It's not difficult be the the cheapest and your establishment will fill. They boost their numbers and continue to serve below low standard food and the kind people of the area will be bought in by value not quality like the quality of people of SFSD deserve. Save your self the pennies and go to the neighboring hyvee market grill for fresh real ingredients and friendly service.

Really good food. Wait staff was fair. You don't necessarily go to this kind of place for good service.
